iPhone 5's Release Date, Cases on Sale & iPad Mini?

What we know for now is iOS 6 is due to be released this Fall, and as usually it does, the iPhone is released about the same time.

There are rumors swirving around of the iPhone being set to be released in the first week of August of 2012. This is said to be because the success the Samsung Galaxy S3is getting, and Apple wants to grab some money away before consumers decide to get the Galaxy S3.

Of course this is not confirmed, just another rumor that seems to be popular at the moment. It's hard to predict what Apple will do. If this rumors fails to be true, look for September or August at latest.

Side Note: BRG confirmed that Apple is testing units that have 1GB of RAM, doubled that of the iPhone 4S's 512MB.

They must have some sort of inside information for them to manufacture, they wouldn't want to waste money and end up with cases they'll collect dust.

Now the iPad Mini, there are rumors of Apple releasing an iPad Mini being released this year as well, I personally do not like the idea, Apples already increasing the iPhones screen to 4 inches, so why come out with a 7.85 inch iPad Mini when the original is only 9.7 inches. But I guess their trying to snatch the market of people looking for something a bit smaller than the iPad, but bigger than the iPhone, and with the lower price than the large iPad, I think it could appeal to some, but I wouldn't ever purchase it personally.
